The Hoedown

The morning after Alyse's birthday we left our completely trashed place and beer covered floors and took a road trip to Detroit for the Hoedown. I made it the whole 2 hour car ride feeling fine but as soon as we got to Detroit I literally felt like death....Alyse and Chris were real nervous that I wasn't going to make it to the hoedown....I think we are all still a little surprised that I did.  We started out tailgating in a parking lot down town Detroit with Chris and his friends...it was quite the culture shock for Alyse and I. We drank some beers then made our way to the hoedown. It was great so many people and country music we got some tried some great food, the only issue was the $7 beers...yuck. Due to Alyse and I being cheapos and having no money we left the hoedown to go buy a pint of vodka that we finished way to fast. We didn't end up staying at the hoedown much longer we wanted to go to a local bar and restaurant....although we hardly remember being there we had soo much! It was a very successful weekend and the one thing I think all of us will remember the most is HOOT SCOOT AND BOOOOOGIIIEEE none of us could stop saying this and as soon as one person said it....it was stuck in ou heads for at least 24 hours!!

Happy Birthday Alyse!!!!!

May 13th was Alyse's Birthday....yes Friday the 13th....normally that doesn't scare me but after the last Friday the 13th I spent with Alyse I was scared for this one! We had gone out the night before to the couch burning party so we were both a lil hungover when we woke up but I made her some awesome pancakes for her b-day. We pretty much spent the whole rest of the day drinking by the pool until around 6 when we went to Roadhouse to eat...yum! We wanted to throw a party so that we could celebrate with everyone...the problem with our parties is that it always ends up being 50 guys and about 6 girls....we need more girlfriends!!! We literally texted and invited over every girl we knew....more than half replied that they were out of town...owned! Its ok though we ended up having a lot of people over yes there were a lot more guy than girls but I think everyone had a good time regardless.

Last Week

Last week it was super nice out and we were pretty much at the pool all day and then went out all night so I didn't have time to update. Here are some pics from last week that will pretty much explain what we were up to!

We went to the bar to watch the Wings and Sharks play....and drink large beers of course!

Callie turned 21 in Vegas!!!! Lucky lil betch....I had to be sure and set my alarm so I could wish her happy birthday at exactly 12 Vegas time!

Mothers Day

Mother’s day was a fun day! I met my parents in New Buffalo for the day to get lunch and catch up…. pretty much explain why I need more money. It was fun though we went to a flower nursery so my mom could get new plants for her garden. We also got to eat at Redamax…YUM! When I was little we used to drive to New Buffalo all the time for the day and eat dinner there, it’s so good. I was able to make it back to Kalamazoo in time to drink at the pool with Mel and some of our guy friends.  Ended up drinking more then I had intended but that’s ok because Alyse was going to be home soon and we were so excited to party!!! Our plans to party all night turned into a game of apples to apples followed by numerous other drinking card games. It was a good night and followed by a good next day where we laid by the pool all day trying to cure our hangovers.

Not For Sale

This is one of the must frustrating things when dealing with guys. What ever happened to have having meaningless hookups? I feel like I should specify “hookups” when I say this I mean making out with some one, simply kissing a person. It seems like around here if you kiss a guy all the sudden you are theirs and it’s so annoying. Lil Kim and Christina Aguilera couldn’t have said it better “If the guy have three girls then he's a man he can either give her some head, or sex her raw, if the girl do the same, then she's a whore.” Guys do the exact same thing that we like to do they just think its slutty as soon as a girl does it. The reason this is so annoying is because I feel like every time I meet a guy it will be so fun at the start and then all the sudden after a week BAM they think we are dating. Then suddenly I feel like I have all these rules and that every time I go out I have to be at his damn hip. Ughh sorry but you don’t own me, let me do what I want, if I like you…. then I’m not going to try and be with other guys….I will be with you. If I don’t like you….I promise you will get the hint and if you don’t…..that’s why I don’t like you. My girlfriends and I talk about this all the time and get so annoyed thinking; since when did the guys become the girl in the situation?? We are not relationship kind of girls…does that makes us sluts…no…we have our boundaries and respect ourselves but it doesn’t mean we can’t go out and flirt and have a good time.  So unless we have shown a specific interest in having a relationship with you….save the flowers, we feel awkward with them. 

Cinco de Mayo

Holy moly what a night last night was! We went to a Cinco De Mayo party where two of our friends were celebrating their 21st birthdays. Its amazing how many people you can cram into these tiny little apartments. After being there for a while Callie and I left with our guy friends to walk to the bar close by, haha the only reasson reason Callie agreed to go with me is becasue one of the guys told her they called the bouncer and he would let her in.....she believed this of course! The guy at the door must have been wasted because her Wisconsin ID did the trick! We only stayed long enough to get one beer and naturally with it being Thursday we all stumbled into ybar around 12:30.....this is when everything become a little hazy. Don't think I saw Callie once in ybar due to her dancing and I really must have been tired because I didn't even dance on the block.....first time for everything I guess. Although at the start of the night I told everyone I wouldn't make it to after hours we ended up hosting it where we made 2 huge things of Velveeta, I was convinced there were trolls in a closet, and I don't think Callie ever moved from her chair. Hours later the door swings open and in stumbles Alyse with her hair all messed up and her eyes pretty much shut  but obviously not alone....who sleeps alone these days anyways.....I have to say we weren't expecting a YEILS I believe his name was but he was a nice guy. It was a great last night for Callie and we can't wait for her to return so we can do it again!!!!

The Recap

The first week of summer has already been crazy. Alyse moved in with me ( Hannah) and Callie and we have gone out every night or had people over at our place. It would take way to long to go through all 7 of the nights so I will just let the pictures do that job of that.

Due to the party that we walked to being a complete fail we sat on these rocks for about 40 mins refusing to walk back home. We ended up getting a ride to 7-11 because of Callie's dire need for an ice cream bar

we had some people over and some idiot thought it would be funny to put these stickers everywhere. It wasn't funny.  Alyse and I spent the whole next day cleaning our whole place and picking those things off.
